President's Report
It's hard to believe it is June and the end of my second year as the Dayton IFMA chapter president, but here we are. I hope that you have enjoyed the last two years as much as I have. i want to thank our Board Members for all of their hard work to make our chapter a success. If you are interested in being a part of the IFMA Board, I invite you to come to a meeting and see what happens behind the scenes to make Dayton IFMA great!
Elections for our new board will happen this month. Please make sure to vote! Remember, these are the people that take care of us by planning interesting, relative and fun events. You will be voting for a President, two Vice Presidents, Treasurer and Secretary. This is also a good time to get involved with a committee to network, build relationships and learn what's going on in the Facility Management world.

Vibration Mitigation
Guest Speaker: Dr. Reza Kashani is a professor at UD and also owns Deicon, a company that specializes in vibration mitigation.
Vibration issues occur in many of our facilities! Dr. Kashani will discuss various methods to control those vibrations.

The Dayton Development Coalition
Mitch Heaton joined The Dayton Development Coalition in November 2015 as a Project Manager having previously served as Director of Development and External Relations for Wright State's College of Engineering and Computer Science. In his role with The Dayton Development Coalition, he is charged with retaining and attracting businesses and opening doors for those that are interested in locating to or expanding within the Dayton Region.
In Case You Missed It - Annual IFMA Golf Outing
Monday, May 23rd proved to be the perfect day for the Annual Dayton IFMA Golf Outing.
Dayton Country Club hosted our event and did everything possible to make it a huge success on one of most beautiful courses in the region.
With an 8am tee time, the record number of golfers were off to a timely start. We want to thank all of our sponsors who were instrumental in making this one of our best events ever!
